What is a KVK extract?

An extract from the Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce is an official document confirming that a company is registered in the Netherlands. It contains, among other things:

  • The company name, trade names and address details
  • The KVK number and date of incorporation
  • The legal form (for example a BV or sole trader)
  • The business activities (SBI code)
  • The names of directors and/or owners
  • Any historical changes (for example address or director changes)
